Zanotti began in the XVII century producing some of Italy’s finest handmade firearms. These guns have an honored place in museums, king’s armories and private collections around the world.

Today Zanotti continues in that tradition by producing world class handcrafted side-by-side shotguns. Express side-by-side rifles are built based on their shotgun design up to .300 H&H caliber.

Zanotti guns are completely handmade one at a time by master craftsmen and have many innovative trademark features available only in Zanotti firearms.

Examples of these features include the “lever counter-lever” system of withdrawing firing pins when the breach is closed. There is a double safety bar system that blocks the hammers and prevents the gun from being discharged should it be dropped. Zanotti’s unique curved lumps fit exactly into curved mortises and this method makes the lump fit with the recesses on a wider rotation arc, thus making the lock much stronger than traditional ones.
